Hi this is Kim Kalan and this is my site and I live in Churchville, USA most of the time so I will be sharing the happenings around town with you as I write them.
Here is the lastest.
The annual cook off was just announced at St. Marta’s parish. Last year Krissy Carpenter won with her world famous chocolate chip cookies and rumor has it she is planning on baking chocolate chip banana bread this year which has caused quite a stir around town. Sarah Smith was heard saying “totally not fair her baking chocolate chip anything I am going to speak to Sally to get her disqualified the day of so she does not have time to dream up another chocolate chip anything”. Krissy is new to town and the parish so her winning was a tough pill for the women of the parish to shallow.
The pill gets even larger as Krissy is nice, pretty, smart, sexy and not married, did I say not married yes not married. So every man in town has his eye on her and what she going to bake next hoping for a sample and some for a date. As of today she declined all invitations to dinner or a movie and as it seems only has one close friend in town, Mark. Mark Brothers is the owner of the floral shop in town and impossibility handsome. He does not have a girlfriend nor does he seem to be interested in dating. The relationship between Krissy and Mark as far as the women of the parish is not a steamy romance much to there dismay.
Krissy and Mark has registered for the cook as a team and being a team has never registered before Margaret has no choice in the matter but to allow them into the cook off as a team. Sally the head of the women’s circle and all fundraising at the parish is beside her self as Sarah and the others disagree and gossip about the decision Sally made.
Krissy and Marks Banana Chocolate Chip Bread entered into the 2013 St Marta’s Cook Off and submitting for publishing for the Parish Fundraising cook book.
